I'm having some issues with my blog. The main one being that my lovingly crafted new posts are not showing up in other people's feeds/lists of things they read. Or not until much later anyway. This is bugging me rather a lot. Because, you know, there was loving and crafting and posting.
Another is that I really need a more appealing layout. Urgently. But I'm all about the words. And not so much about the images.
Any thoughts? Especially about the reason you're all not receiving my posts? My lovingly crafted new posts? (Yeah I see the irony.)

They're showing up in my google reader. No problem.
ReplyDeleteshowing up on my blog too - but my posts sometimes don't show for ages, and sometimes my blog doesn't show anyones posts for ages.

Blogger is to blame. They show up really late in mine. Hours late. I 'follow' my own blog anonymously (so I don't look weird showing up in my own following box) so that I can see exactly when it hits my google reader. Often, it's hours after I hit publish or schedule it to post.

Sometimes Blogger can be a little fussy, especially as of late. They always show up in my reader, but some readers don't check for updates continually. Some check every 30 minutes, some longer than that.

ReplyDeleteseems ok chez moi. but i do have a second secretive blog for myself that displays all wrong. every time i want to go look at it i have to change the template to make it appear. v wierd. and of course its impossible to contact blogger directly to ask what the problem is.
