- Gay Porn part VI
- Conception: a how-to
- I'm pregnant now, but I won't stop snorting cocaine (just kidding)
- I didn't get my foul mouth and dubious sense of humour from a stranger.
- I can just pretend he's not reading it by making the helpful voices in my head sing "LALALA" very loudly to drown out the other ones.
- He probably won't even read this. He's a very busy man, you know.
(Hi, pa, make yourself at home!)
ooops! Good luck. ;0)
ReplyDeleteArhh! Nightmare. My mother and mother in law read my blog and it doesn't half constrain what I can write about!
ReplyDeleteI've often considered starting another secret blog so I can tell the truth:-). But I suppose having loved ones and friends reading my blog is a natural form of censorship and doesn't really hurt.
ReplyDeleteI do wish there was a magic button you could push to prevent the people you don't want reading your blog. (My MIL for example)
ReplyDeleteYour Pa sounds cool though (even if he does have a foul mouth)!
@Nova - Thanks. ;-)
ReplyDelete@Brit in Bosnia - Luckily I decided never to write anything that couldn't be read by anyone.
@Countess - This was my secret blog. :-)
@Calif Lorna - Ah no, it will be okay. And I haven't told the in-laws yet.
Hilarious!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to reading his comments.
Will 'pa' get a guest spot on your blog?
Good luck!
Hmm. I gave a book of Irish blog writing to my godmother and couldn't bring myself to scribble out my blog address on it. But it does worry me a little...
ReplyDeleteYou're in good company. My father and father-in-law read mine, and it definitely censors what I can blog about. Like Countess, I've toyed with the idea of a totally anonymous blog....but inevitably I'd let something slip and then it really WOULD be embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteYour Dad will be proud of your blog I reckon. Sensor nothing.
ReplyDeletei've been looking at my stats and im fairly sure my parents have found my blog. but if i publish this comment on my blog, they'll see it. tempted to shut down blog. advice please!
ReplyDeleteI hope pa becomes a commentator!
ReplyDeleteHe was bound to find out the day The New York Times (or the Brugges Bugle Times) decided to do a big feature on you!
@lulu's missives - I don't think a guest spot is imminent. :-)
ReplyDelete@Jo - I've mentioned my blog to a couple of people who then didn't ask for the address. Always very awkward.
@nappy valley girl - No, I don't think I'd dare throw a real secret out there on the net - too easy to discover!
@Jenny Rudd - That's secretly what I'm hoping - and I'm 32! So pathetic. Yeah, and if I start censoring myself, I wouldn't think it was worth keeping the blog, so no worries there.
@screamish - Don't! Perhaps delete any posts in which you were rude about them, but it's not like you're ever offensive or anything. Just keep writing. I'm sure relatives don't mind you being a real human. (That's my take on this anyway.)
@Geeks in Rome - Have I mentioned I love you?
I'm looking forward to it all. Do you sensor things already? I hope not :o
ReplyDeleteIt too with there was a magic button to limit who can read your blog so I can use it too...but alas there isn't. I blew that out of the bag when I used it to let everyone know how smidget was doing:p Oh well ***t happens hey?
Blog away my friend!! If I have to sensor for my famdamily then I'd love to be able to read blogs of people who can speak their minds and not be smacked for it.
Obviously it depends on the person. I would shut my blog immediately if I found out that a member of my family was reading it. No-one in my "real" life knows about it except my partner, and he doesn't speak English so can't read it. The anonymity is really important to me. Your case sounds different. How did he find out?
ReplyDeleteOh I am so looking forward to those future posts! I'm sure your dad will be even more charmed and proud of you than he already is! I think it's sweet he wants to read, neither one of my fathers have ever expressed any interest in mine. Maybe they assume I sit around and talk about sobriety and penis all day. Hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteSo he can do that LALALA thing too? Right?
ReplyDeleteStay true to your blog, woman!
Yep. Say what you need to say.
ReplyDeleteUh-oh! I think you should go ahead with those posts though. They sound good.
ReplyDeleteOh Mwa...you crack me up as always. I really hope we won't be denied that gay porn post. I SO look forward to it. You seem to have a great attititude about it. I love that.
ReplyDeleteHi Pa!
Blog on sister!
Eeek I get so scared that my family might find my blog .... thought Mr was going to out me at the weekend!
ReplyDeleteMy parents read my blog...but I'm not all that nasty. Or nasty at all, really.
ReplyDeleteEvery once in a while my mom will call and complain about something I wrote...but oh well. Can't please everyone all the time, right?
I had just received two nasty emails from cousins so I know what you mean. I think they're envious because I tell the truth and they wish they could. So, go on, keep telling it like it is.
ReplyDeleteLol, Mwa. I know. It's worse when they stop by and then NEVER VISIT AGAIN.
ReplyDeleteGay porn on coke is the best.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the pregnancy! xx MM
Hi Mwwa's dad!!! If it makes you feel any better, my whole family knows about mine.. actually pretty much everyone except for my co-workers (hopefully!) And I can't wait for the gay porn post!! My favorite!!!
ReplyDeleteHahahahaaha!! Hi Mwa's dad and BTW my mom really hated the post on did on granny porn featuring her mother. I am right there with you. I'm going to encourage her to use the lalalalala while she is reading my blog in the future. Thanks for that.
ReplyDeleteOh and she wasn't too jazzed about the post I did on my hubby's thong conspiracy theories either. Humph!
