Still sick. Eghhhh.
I'm using the TV as a babysitter and cooking pasta with red pesto and a tin of sweetcorn as "vegetables." I'm a bad, bad mother. For protein, I'm sprinkling some cheese on top. When Babes finally gets home he will be instructed to peel fruit and hand out yoghurts. While I go to bed with a book. Which I will read for at least two minutes.
Oh, and phlegm has too many letters. Flem would do the job just as well.

I'd be delighted if my kids would eat pasta with tinned sweetcorn and pesto.....it DEFINITELY counts as a vegetable.
ReplyDeleteIf it was spelt Flem, wouldn't it be derogatory to the Flemish?!
I also thought of the Flemmish :)
ReplyDeleteIf it were green pesto then that would be even more healthy ! Enjoy your 2 mins reading.
ReplyDeleteOh for goodness sake. Just have an ice cream dinner one night. It won't kill them.
ReplyDeleteyuck! Being sick when you are pregnant sucks so bad- I am almost in tears remembering it! I hope you feel better. Oh and to help-yesterday the only thing my 2 year old would eat for dinner was a popcorn ball- so I let her. Let's all sign the bad mom pledge!
ReplyDeletesounds like what my girls ate tonight..except it was a can of peas...a champion diet!!!
ReplyDeleteHey. It all balances out in the end. Rest. Get better.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a hell of a tasty vegetable to me! Feel better!
ReplyDeletePesto was my lazy mother mainstay until the children went off it because I fed it to them too much. They didn't even have sweetcorn or cheese with it because they don't like either of those things. Hope you feel better soon x
ReplyDeleteYou fed them, didn't you? Hope you feel better soon xx
ReplyDeleteOh I've never tried red pesto but I say it definitely counts as a veggie. I use pesto all the time to subdue the minions. And hey..they're fed. That's what counts.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfectly fine dinner.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon.
Wow - is your last name Karmel? How many different colours are there in that dish? Show off.
ReplyDeletegot better! tinned corn is awesome!
ReplyDeleteFeel better already! At least you attempted something resembling a vegetable.
