Nine days to go and I want to crawl under a rock until this baby is out. Yesterday was fine but I got no rest and today I just want to cry and hide. Which is not an option right now.
Yes, I am wearing my grandmother's curtains. What of it?
Tomorrow shall be better.

I think pregnant women are hot. I've also been with child thrice so I'm sure you will discount everything I say. I think you look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThat is some good belly.
You're looking good. Nice neat bump. I looked like that, with my 2nd baby, at around 6 months!! Good luck.
ReplyDeleteyour bump is so pretty! mine is a big odd shaped this time round.
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful! 9 days? Holy CRAP that's soon. Though not soon enough for you, I'm sure.
ReplyDeletethe bump looks fab - I long for a bump like that one day ;)
ReplyDeleteYou look tiny!! Biatch. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou're looking gorgeous. Love the dress.
ReplyDeleteI know this bit is awful! Hang in there. xx
You look great! I've always hated the look of myself pregnant but think other pregnant women look wonderful. Not long now. Is your face really that shiny?
ReplyDeleteYou rock that baby look!
ReplyDeleteur so beautiful!
ReplyDeletei have to admit, i say your blog post name t-9 days on my blogroll and I got all excited and nervous for you! eeeeeeekkkkkkk, almost there girl!
Emily O's shiny comment cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteOkay. In my professional opinion, you are definitely PREGNANT! Once, when I was about as pregnant as you are now, a waiter in our favorite restaurant looked at me and said, "Mrs. Moon, you have eaten entirely too much!"
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd go into labor laughing. Thank god I found it funny. Otherwise I would have slapped the shit out of him and cried my eyes out.
By the way- you're fucking gorgeous.
@All This Trouble - I do need a fan regularly.
ReplyDelete@Victoria - It's strange - so many people look at me as if I'm huge. I think it's not that bad either.
@Maggie May - Odd shape - they do say girls go around more, and boys forward. (My girl stuck straight forward, too.)
@Steph - I'm hoping it will be less than 9 days, but I don't really believe in it.
@Queenie - Welcome!
And if you long for it, I'm sure you will have it.
@Metropolitan Mum - I've never been called tiny before, at 1m76 or thereabouts. :-) But thanks.
@Jo - I love the dress, too.
You seem to have really hated being pregnant. I'm more up and down. Down today. But up tomorrow. Definitely.
@Emily O - It's my halo.
@Countess - Thank you!
@Darcy - I know, but it seems so far away!
@Steph - Me, too! My face is not the part the sun shines out of. ;-)
@Ms. Moon - I am indeed pregnant. Completely. And thank you.
ReplyDeleteI think granny's curtains are gorgeous! and yet you could wear a potato sack and make it look ravishing!
ReplyDeleteAre we having a contest like XBox to guess day, time, weight, length?? hmmm?
@geeksinrome - I'd love a competition, but I don't think it would be entirely fair. All the babies in my family (from my uncle 70 years ago) have been late and induced, so I'm asking for an induction relatively soon. I'm happy to wait until my date, but if it's going to be induced, I don't want to wait two weeks after that. (I know - I'm awful. But hey.)
ReplyDeleteI remember how slowly those last days go (LB1 was 10 days late as well...). But you will be there soon. And your bump looks great - even in the curtains (your granny must be very trendy) . I'm very excited for you.
ReplyDeleteAlmost there!
ReplyDeleteI, once again have loved reading your post, and the comments and your comments to their comments....Ms Moon is a hoot.....AND.....if that is what you look like in granny's curtains you must be absolutely, awesomely stunning in everyday normal clothes :) Won't be long now, I must say I loved being pregnant as I was told I would never have kids...huh what would they know, I had three.
ReplyDeleteHugs Sandi
I think you look hawt. Now, I need to know, in your equation, what is t? Perhaps I am not skilled at pregnancy math, not currently being pregnant. August 8 would be nice date, for your son to share with my duaghter. I hope for a tear free day for you tomorrow. This part is kind of endless.
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely!!!! Kathryn
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous that you have a nice neat bump. I look liked an elephant with both my girls. FIngers crossed that baby comes early so that you can crawl out of rock and start to enjoy yourself with new baby!
ReplyDeleteBNMx
Aww you look fab. Try to get lots of rest. Only 9 days.... how exciting. xx
ReplyDeleteonly 9 mnore days to go? exiting...:-)
ReplyDeletei like the granny curtains by the way..and i ms ure it will be all good and...you know...i can not finishing this snetence without something uaaahahahahah-like..so i just say it will be all good and soon you have that little baby in your arms and belly and stress and all will be forgotten..:-)
Oh you look fantastic! I love the bump and I love the curtain-y dress too! I hope that baby comes soon :-)
ReplyDelete@nappy valley girl - They do seem endless.
ReplyDelete@Megan - Indeed.
@Sandi - "They" often don't know shit. I love that you had three just to prove them wrong.
@GingerB - t is my calculated due date. So I'm hoping for sooner, but my genetic makeup says later.
@Kathryn - Thank you.
@BNM - Thank you! I hope so too.
@Very Bored in Catalunya - Rest??? You should see my to-do list. Rest is not really an option. I have about five errands planned today, and two children determined to have a holiday. Rest is for Saturday. Maybe.
@Danielle - I like the curtains, too. It's my favourite non-pregnant dress and happens to be loose enough to accommodate a big bump.
@Maggie - Thanks. So do I.
what!?! you look adorable! Love the 70s dress over the round bump! Hang tough girl, you're on the homestretch!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many people with you on this one!
ReplyDeleteGo, Go!
Oh, is that what you're wearing? I was wondering! Still, you do have a very nice shape, even if you have just nine days to go.
ReplyDeleteEek! I'd forgotten. You must admit, that's an impressively elegant bump. This is the point at which supermum developed serious Nintendo addiction (usually Zelda). Hope you aren't too bored.
ReplyDeletewhat a neat and beautiful bump! For the first time today I thought mine wasn't enormous, now I see your photo and I'm worried again that I'm carrying a massive monster that'll get stuck after labouring 32 hours. Oh that was last time? Nevermind.
ReplyDeleteTake some rest, your life sounds far too busy!
GORGEOUS BUMP, LADY!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you look amazing! I remember how horrible this time was when I was pregnant with Finn. Make sure you are taking time to rest, because it will be the last time you get for awhile. I'm sure you know this better than I because you're on your third.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to hear when the new baby is born. I'm going to be checking in often so I'll also know when your out of your misery and into a totally different (no sleep) kind of misery!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I'd say you're pregnant!
