Soppy

I'm up late reading a long love letter I wrote to Babes at university. It's more of a book than a letter, really. It's making me feel all lovey and fuzzy, especially with our third baby sitting in my belly right underneath the letter. It's nice to remember the important stuff sometimes. Like love.

I should go to bed and give him a big cuddle.

(No change in the baby situation to report.)

  1. Ahhh sweet, I hope you are having a good "cuddle" - that might get your little one moving towards the outside world!

Have been offline a lot lately as had my sis visiting but was thinking of you and wondering about the baby. I hope you do not have a wait like I just did but surely that can't happen with number 3!

  3. Mmmm...
You know- it's that lovin' vibe that got the baby in there and sometimes it's that lovin' vibe that get's 'em out...
(Ina May Gaskin said that) and I THINK YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

  6. That is lovely - just ... men... I wish you were reading a long love letter he wrote YOU in university.

Still... that cake gives him enough brownie points to cover a multitude for years to come.

  7. @Tanya - What is it with all of you and your dirty minds? I am nine months pregnant people! ;-) I will consider it tonight. But really - a cuddle (a real one) takes ALL my energy just now.

    @Steph - :-)

@All This Trouble - So does your comment!

@Ms. Moon - You as well! Dirty mind! Again - I will consider it later.

@Kate - Surprisingly, yes. I still hope it won't be too long.

@Sandi - I wish you one just like mine. But not actually mine. Because he's mine. But one just like him.

@Jo - Actually, Jo - there's no fault to find her. I was at university for three years (the first time) and he wrote me a letter and posted it EVERY SINGLE DAY. Didn't miss one. And I didn't send him one even half as often. And he used to spend ALL his money and time travelling to see me. So ... men ... fine - but not in this instance at all. :-)

  8. So lovely. And honestly you dont have to do any work to do the dirty. you can even be asleep. He's the one who has to work it.

Anyway. I was just thinking yesterday the terrible loss of letter writing. I have only just begun to write letters again to someone without internet. It made me think of all the wonderful handwritten letters I have from loves and friends. And how nice it is to reread them.

I often wonder if teen love today will miss out on having handwritten love letters?

  9. You made me go "ahhh" and it takes a lot to get me all gooey these days, unless it's my children.
I loved the description of the baby in your tummy below the love letter.

  10. Oh come on now - I've been on holiday and still no baby!!! Hang in there honey, you know he'll make an appearance when he feels like it (it'll be training for when he is a man and can never be on time!)
Keepin fingers crossed that no induction will take place and that whilst I'm writing this you will be in labour!!

  11. @geeks in rome - I see you are a true romantic: the lost art of letter writing vs. you don't even have to be awake. Very confusing. :-)

@marketingtomilk - With me, it takes NOTHING just now. Everything makes me weak at the knees. Hormones? What hormones?

@BNM - I'm starting to consider threatening my doctor with bodily harm if he doesn't relieve me.

  12. Aw, Mwa, that's lovely :)

the daily letters I mean. Not the mental pregnant woman threatening of your doctor. If you do reach that stage, will you promise me to mess your hair all wild and upstanding before you go in the office? Just to observe the proper mad pregnant woman ettiquette?

  13. Awww........I was on a mini-vacation with the munchkin and kept wondering if you had popped. At least I didn't miss the big event, though it must be getting tough for you.

I think you've gotten enough of the lewd suggestions so will hold my tongue. (Women can be dirtier minded than soldiers in the wilderness).
