It's official

Coming out of my mother's house after dropping the children off, I took a deep breath. It felt like the first proper breath I'd had in a week. I got in the car, switched the stereo to the podcast I'd abandoned days earlier and drove off towards my empty home, a good book and a cup of tea. I only had a couple of hours to myself but it felt like a proper holiday.

I think I'm officially done having kids.

  5. Sometimes all you need is those 2 hours of sanity and peace to put you back together again. I'm planning mine on Saturday afternoon, but the Huzz doesn't know it yet!

  7. And isn't it a relief never to think whether you should have another? Enjoy your moments to yourself.

  8. Whisper when you say that... we said it loudly after two,and God has a really wicked sense of humour.

  11. I know you're going through a tough phase, but I envy you. Why? Because I've only had one and still have to get through the first year with the next (which I don't have the courage to have yet). Confused? Sorry, I'm totally stressed just thinking about it.

  12. Supermum's been very firm after two that that's it. But I also think she's tempting fate a little.

  14. I've just tweeted that having teens makes me consider boarding school (and I was only partly joking).
