Service temporarily but not quite voluntarily interrupted

The attentive reader may have noticed I've gone awol. We are on holiday until further notice, mostly away from internet and, for the next week, also from all phone reception. Yes, we are going to the Jurassic, aka Scotland. I WILL be back. (And I will be missing you all.)

Oh, and here's a joke my lovely sister An, may she always have good mobile reception as well as 3G, told me yesterday:

- Knock, knock.
- Who's there?
- To.
- To who?
- To WHOM.

Excellent joke, I hope you will agree.

See you as fast as I can, my lovelies.

  1. That IS excellent!

I'm noticing a lot of gratuitous whoming these days, on the interwebs...

  2. Hey a joke that made me laugh and one I can tell to my parents - fairly unusual, that.

Miss you! I hope you eat haggis or at least a deep fried white pudding from a greasy chippie. I am jealous!

Many years ago I had a Scottish boyfriend (he could have just read me the phone book and I would have gone to bed with him) and I have many fond memories of spending time in Scotland, particularly eating and drinking in Scotland.

  9. Thank god, I though I had done something to piss you off. *phew* No comment replies, no visits to my blog (yes, I can be paranoid and self-centered).

Hehehe.....I have never understood who and whom properly and for someone who's always correcting other people, I'm terrified that I'll be caught out someday.

    Enjoy your break.

  12. Have a great holiday! I can't think of a nicer place to be :D. I love that two people in Scotland are having both the best and worst summers ever. That in itself strikes me as very Scottish!

I for one am missing my bright white Scottish glow and am sporting a slight tan for what must be the first time in maybe ever. Hope you don't come back paler! Haste ye back!
